What happens after I have made a booking:

Please read the details we have sent you carefully, and let us know if you need to change anything.  If you would like our HaaHoos party invitations you can collect them from us free of charge from our studio.  Then relax and look forward to the party!

Can I make changes to my booking:

Yes.  Simply telephone, email or visit the studio and our staff will happily amend your booking.  We would prefer as much notice as possible to accommodate your requests.

However our cut off for amendments is 48 hours before your party. Unfortunately after this time we are unable to make any changes due to having organised staff, ordered all the yummy food and party activity etc…

Deposit Policy:

We recognise that cancellations only happen for a good reason, so we will do our best to help you to rearrange if that’s what you need.  Unfortunately the £30 deposit is non-refundable as it covers the cost of holding the slot for you and administration. If you cancel your party booking further than 2 weeks away from the party date, your deposit is transferable to another party booking date if you require. If you cancel your party within 2 weeks of your party date the deposit is not transferable.

The week of your party – final confirmation:

We will contact you to confirm your party details and get the final guest numbers from you, in the week leading up to your party. If there are any outstanding details still awaiting confirmation we will arrange these with you at this time.

Guests no show policy: 

It is up to you to let us know as soon as possible if your guest numbers change in the few days leading up to the party.  You can change your guest numbers up until 48 hrs before your party.

After this time we will charge you full price if any expected guests do not attend.

What do you need to bring to the party: 

The only thing you need to bring along to your party is a birthday cake, candles and matches if you are having one.  We will provide everything else!

What you can expect from us during the party: 

We love running parties in the studio so briefly lets walk through a standard 1 ½ hour party.

  1. Guests arrive and are seated
  2. A staff member talks through the painting tools and techniques that will be used – we will need to ask for a bit of hush from both the children and the adults for this important part.
  3. Each guest will be asked which item they would like to paint, and painting begins – our staff will be on hand to help any painters so no need for any parents to be involved in this.
  4. 1 hour from party start the painting will finish and the table is prepared for food.
  5. Happy Birthday is sung with the birthday cake.
  6. Party food is passed around by our staff – during this time we ask the party parents to cut up the birthday cake ready for eating or wrap in napkins and place in the party bags. We can provide napkins for this if required.
  7. The party comes to a close, and guests are collected.

What we expect from you during the party: 

We love having parents with us during the party but we need to ask for a few moments of hush at the beginning whilst we get the painting party underway.

Due to limited space in the studio we ask that no more than 4 parents remain during the party. We will aim to provide an extra table for parents to sit at whilst we help the children with their painting but this will depend on other bookings due in at the same time as your booking.

Remember it’s also a time for you to put your feet up for a while, order a tea or coffee or paint your own piece of pottery!  Don’t forget we are licensed so you can also order a glass of wine or a beer.
