Easter Art Clubs 2020
This Easter holidays we’re running 2 Art Club activities every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from Tuesday 7th April 2020 to Thursday 16th April 2020.
During the first week Art Clubs will take place in the morning, during the second week Art Clubs will take place in the afternoon.
Morning Art Clubs – Tues 7th, Weds 8th, and Thurs 9th
10 am – 10.10 am: Drop off and sign in
10.10 am – 11.10 am: Activity 1
11.10 am – 11.30 am: Drinks and Snacks – Collection/Drop off for next session
11.30 am – 12.30 pm: Activity 2
12.30 pm: Collection and sign out
Afternoon Art Clubs – Tues 14th, Weds 15th, and Thurs 16th April
1 pm – 1.10 pm: Drop off and sign in
1.10 pm – 2.10 pm: Activity 1
2.10 pm – 2.30 pm: Drinks and Snacks – Collection/Drop off for next session
2.30 pm – 3.30 pm: Activity 2
3.30 pm: Collection and sign out
Each Art Club will have a different creative activity every time…some pieces will be finished to take away on the day and others will have to be left with us for firing and ready to collect at a later date.
£12 per child for 1 activity, or £22 for both activities on 1 day, for ages 6 to 12 years old, with drinks and snacks included. Clay make and clay paint sessions are linked double sessions and attendance at both is necessary to complete the project. All other activities are individual and you can choose to book for just 1 of both on those days.
Art Clubs are drop off sessions and the workshops are supervised by our helpful, friendly and experienced staff.

Tuesday 7th April
This is a linked double session.
Activity 1: Clay Make – Swirly Spring Scene
Use clay to create a swirly, wiggly tile showing a super sunny spring scene from scratch on this fun clay make. Create cool designs and patterns with impressions from our awesome textured tools!
Activity 2: Clay Paint – Swirly Spring Scene
Part two of the double session where you’ll use our straight to clay glazes to paint your clay creation.
Collection time: 2 – 3 weeks
Wednesday 8th April
Activity 1: Eggciting Chick Pottery Plates
Using a variety of pottery painting techniques, including using torn paper and plastic forks (!!!) create your own funky coloured Easter chick design on a plate.
Collection time : 3 – 5 days
Activity 2: Funky Collage Rabbit Pencil Pot Painting
Paint a pottery pencil pot with a unique, and crafty, animals and patterned design using our stamps, stencils, and sponges and special crystal glazes.
Collection time: 3 – 5 days
Thursday 9th April
This is a linked double session.
Activity 1: Clay Make: Magical Lanterns
Spend the first hour crafting your Magical Lanterns from clay. Using our fab tools, stamps and techniques you’ll make a really cool lantern to pop a small tea light candle inside!
Activity 2: Clay Paint: Magical Lanterns
Spend the second hour painting your Magical Lanterns with our special, straight to clay glazes.
Collection time: 2 – 3 weeks
Tuesday 14th April
Activity 1: Marvellous Mandala Animal Mugs
Create a mandala inspired dotty, patterned design based around your favourite animals and creatures on a pottery mug, using loads of creative, and fun techniques.
Collection time : 3 – 5 days
Activity 2: Solar System Crafty Canvases
Using a selection of bright coloured acrylic paints, painting, spraying and sponging techniques, paint your starry canvas with a vibrant and unique solar system design.
Collection time : take away on the day
Wednesday 15th April
This is a linked double session.
Activity 1: Clay Make: Brilliant Bird Feeders
Spend the first hour crafting your brilliant bird feeders from clay. Using our fab tools and techniques you’ll make a really cool bird feeder to pop some snacks for all those hungry birds in!
Activity 2: Clay Paint: Brilliant Bird Feeders
Spend the second hour painting your bird feeder with our special, straight to clay glazes.
Collection time: 2 – 3 weeks
Thursday 16th April
Activity 1: Magnificent Door Plaques
Create your own funky door plaque with lots of interesting patterns and geometric shapes. Using our masking techniques and more, create the perfect name plaque to pop on your door!
Collection time : 3 – 5 days
Activity 2: Crazy Cupcake Mug Painting
Using a variety of pottery painting techniques, including using torn paper and learning some awesome ombre effects, create your own funky coloured cupcake mug perfect for a hot chocolate!
Collection time : 3 – 5 days
