Easter Art Clubs 2017

We will be running similar Easter Art Clubs during the Easter holidays 2018 with more details closer to the time.

This Easter holidays we’re running 3 Art Club sessions every weekday, starting at 9am and finishing at 1pm, from Mon 3rd April 2017 to Friday 14th April 2017.

Drop your kids off to just 1 session a day or all 3, you decide!

9 am – 9.15 am: Drop off and sign in
9.15 am – 10.15 am: Session 1
10.15 am – 10.30 am: Drinks and Snacks – Collection/Drop off for next session
10.30 am – 11.30 am: Session 2
11.30 am – 11.45 am: Drinks and Snacks – Collection/Drop off for next session
11.45 am – 12.45 pm: Session 3
12.45 pm – 1 pm: Collection and sign out

Each Art Club will have a different crafty activity every time…

Monday 3rd April
Session 1: Stick up your sign – pottery painting a fun door name sign using decorative stickers to mask out the design
Session 2: Make that mask – spectacular mask making using patterned paper, paint, glitter, feathers and glue
Session 3: Funky foam clay tiles – use cutters and shaping tools to create a fantastic foam clay masterpiece on a tile

Tuesday 4th April
Session 1: Silk butterfly suncatchers – paint a beautiful butterfly design onto a silk suncatcher using silk paints
Session 2: Bubbly boxes – use a fun bubble blowing technique to decorate a pottery trinket box
Session 3: Queens and Kings of Spring – create a spring crown fit for Royalty out of card and decorative embellishments

Wednesday 5th April
Session 1: Spring buttons and bits canvases – use buttons, bobbles, felt and shapes to create a fantastic artwork canvas
Session 2: Delightful Decopatch animals – use Decopatch patterned papers to decorate an elegant animal shape
Session 3: Clay snake coil pots – make a slithery snack design coil pot from clay using clay building techniques

Thursday 6th April
Session 1: Watch out for drips – paint a crazy rainbow drip design on a pottery mug
Session 2: Beautiful glass bottles – use glass paints to create a beautiful pattern on a glass bottle
Session 3: Superhero pop up cards – make your favourite superhero into a pop up card with fantastic embellishments

Friday 7th April
Session 1: Delicious Decopatch boxes – use Decopatch patterned papers to decorate a scrumptious cupcake shape box
Session 2: Flower pot frieze canvases – use elaborate papers and collage techniques to create a canvas masterpiece
Session 3: Clay fairy doors – build your own fairy sized door out of clay with textures, detail and decorations

Monday 10th April
Session 1: Flying paper birds – create a moving 3d hanging mobile of fantastic folded coloured card birds
Session 2: Scratchy scraffito – use the scraffito technique to design and paint an elaborately patterned plate
Session 3: Patio paint plant pots – use special paints, sponges and stamps to decorate and design a terracotta plant pot

Tuesday 11th April
Session 1: Fabulous fabric bags – use bright fabric paints, glitters and liners to decorate a fabric bag
Session 2: Wise clay owls – make a wise owl out of clay, using clay slab building techniques
Session 3: Stained glass style silhouettes – create a beautiful stained glass window design with tissue papers and card

Wednesday 12th April
Session 1: Elephant bunting – use card, paper, glitter and crafting tools to produce a string of elephant shape bunting
Session 2: Funky foam clay animals – use bright neon foam clay to mould 3d animal shapes with funky patterns
Session 3: Super stamps on your bowl – pottery painting a cereal bowl using super stamp and sponge techniques

Thursday 13th April
Session 1: Excellent Decopatch eggs – use Decopatch patterned papers, paint and glitter  to decorate a Easter egg shape
Session 2: Crazy graffiti canvases – use rollers, textured prints and masking techniques to design a graffiti style canvas
Session 3: Clay pinch pot monsters – make a cool monster shape from clay using clay building techniques

Friday 14th April
Session 1: Hanging Easter egg garlands – use card, paper, glitter and crafting tools to produce a hanging egg garland
Session 2: Patchwork pencil pots – paint a pottery pencil pot with a unique funky patchwork design
Session 3: Silk penguin suncatchers – paint a beautiful penguin design onto a silk suncatcher using silk paints

£11 per child for 1 session, or £30 for all 3 sessions on 1 day, for ages 6 to 12 years old, with drinks and snacks included.
